The Mid-Autumn Moon Festival

Today Mr. Schenck came to our class to teach us all about The Mid-Autumn Moon Festival. Each year Evan and his family celebrate this tradition. Mr. Schenck shared with us a video that helped to explain the legend behind this festival. This year the Festival is Sunday, September 29th when the moon is believed to be at it's fullest. Thanks to Evan's dad we were able to sample some very yummy moon cakes, view some very pretty lanterns, and learn about a new family tradition.
