On Monday we began reading the book, Flat Stanley. Flat Stanley is a wonderful series about a boy that becomes flat and is therefore able to visit many interesting places via the mail.

The children in our class will be making flat dolls of him/herself in class and sending his/her dolls through the mail to see what adventures may happen.

The flat dolls will be mailed from school next week to the addresses of participants that the children have submitted. The participants will be asked to write to your child using the letter and format provided to them. When the participant has finished spending time with your child's flat doll, he/she will be asked to send the doll, the letter, any postcards or pictures, back to our class at Columbus Academy.

The flat dolls will be mailed from school next week. At the beginning of March we will ask that all the dolls should be return to CA, and we will locate each one's geographical journey.
