100th Day of School!
Today we celebrated the 100th day of school in first grade. We started off the day answering many different questions about the number 100. Some of the questions asked us what we would/could eat 100 of, lift 100 of, see 100 of, etc. Some of us were still working on these so look for them to come home soon!
The next 100 Day activity we did was a fun one! We completed many different activities in 100 second and counted how many times we could do each of these. Some of the activities included saying the alphabet, counting to 10, hopping up and down, clapping, blinking and standing up and sitting down.
The next activity involved drawing a self-portrait in 100 seconds. The children actually did a really great job with this! When they were done they then had to draw a picture of what they thought they would look like in 100 years!
The last activity we did was called The 100th Day Olympics. The children completed 10 different aerobic activities throughout the afternoon. For each activity they put a sticker to represent completion.
Overall we had a very fun day celebrating our 100 days of being in school!
