Night Tree

After reading the book The Night Tree by Eve Bunting, our first graders participated in rotations to make food ornaments for the animals. After everything was made, we took our ornaments outside to decorate a tree. We then came inside to warm up with hot chocolate and a doughnut! 
This is always a favorite first grade tradition!
