Illustrator Visits 1st Grade

We were so lucky to have Dave Aikins visit the first graders this week! Dave is the father of first grader, Adam Aikins, who is in 1C. During his visit, Mr. Aikins shared that that he often draws characters for Nickelodeon books, including Dora the Explorer and Spongebob! He read us one of the Spongebob books he has illustrated called, The Good, the Bad and the Krabby and even drew some large sketches for us. We are so thankful that Mr. Aikins took time to visit us and share his passion of drawing!
