Quilt Squares with Buddies
This week we have been discussing the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and how he built hope for others. Many students in the CA community participated in making quilt squares for a correlating project called Project Linus. The quilt squares, made by the students, will be sewn into larger quilts and then donated to children who are very ill or in need of a homemade blanket. We were very excited to get together with our 3rd grade buddies and be part of this wonderful service project!
